Bao
The tournament is open to italian and foreing player
The KIBA (Klubo internacia de Bao-amantoj, ) invites you to
grasp this opportunity to play Bao la Kiswahili outside East Africa!
Participation in this event doesn't require any membership and players will be grouped according to their fani (skill).
So even if you are a beginner please don't miss this chance to meet other friendly players and
enjoy the very pleasant atmosphere of the game event GiocaRoma 2011. Visit the KIBA page if you want to play online and to practise.

Entry Fee:
Not decided yet. Anyway it won't be more than 5 euros to be donated to the charity Changamano ONLUS.
Entry Deadline:
There isn't any deadline, but we invite you to let us
know if you'll take part to the tournament as soon as possible in order
to plan the calendar in advance.
Pre-registration is possible on the GiocaRoma website: http://www.giocaroma.it/calendario.php, clicking on the buttom "Prenota".
Tournament Format:
Rounds will be a maximum length of 90 minutes.
The Tournament will be run in a multi-round format, depending on number of entrants. Maximum number of rounds is nine.
Players will be matched by rank according to the Swiss System.
Games in each round will run concurrently.
The tournament will be run according to the following calendar.
Saturday September 10th:
10:00am - 11:30 am : 1st round
11:30am - 1:00 pm : 2nd round
Lunch 1:00-01:30 pm
2:00am - 3:30 pm : 3rd round
3:30am - 5:00 pm : 4th round
5:00am - 6:30 pm : 5th round
Sunday September 11th:
10:00am - 11:30 am : 6th round
11:30am - 1:00 pm : 7th round
Lunch 1:00-01:30 pm
2:00am - 3:30 pm : 8th round
3:30am - 5:00 pm : 9th round
6:00 pm: prize-giving ceremony
Prize Schedule:
1st Place gets 1 A surprise
2nd Place gets 1 certificate
3rd Place gets 1 certificate
